A haveli is a traditional mansion found in India, especially in northern and western regions. These grand houses are known for their courtyards, elaborate facades, carved doors, and jharokhas (enclosed balconies).
Built by wealthy merchants, nobles, or landowners, havelis showcase intricate carvings and frescoes, reflecting the region's cultural and artistic heritage.
They often housed extended families and sometimes had commercial uses. Rajasthani havelis feature vibrant frescoes and marble work, while Gujarati havelis are known for intricate woodwork.
